I realize now that my blogs will appear under the date posted. I'm going to type in, from my

planting journal, notes from each day I've worked on this project. The dates will be odd. I guess

that's okay.

GOAL: Plant a Tree a Day

AND: (1) a major shrub, like salal or evergreen huckleberry will do

(2) native plants only . . . mostly

(3) work ahead so the dry season (July, August, September) won't catch me off guard

(4) plant more than one tree a day if I need to, to catch up

My goals were written after several days of thinking over this idea.
